Chapter President’s Message

Welcome to the Powerful and Passionate Willamette Valley Chapter of Jack and Jill of America Incorporated.  Our mission is to empower Black youth in the Pacific Northwest by building confidence through meaningful experiences rooted in the Black community. We are committed to providing opportunities that lay a strong foundation for success, ensuring that our children thrive and reach their full potential.

Through local experiences, mentorships, community partnerships and neighborhood events with a focus on strengthening the black community, we strive to make a lasting impact in the greater Portland Metro Area.  As president of this incredible organization, I am honored to work alongside our powerful and passionate mothers who share in the organizational mission of shaping the leaders of tomorrow. Together, we are making a real impact on the lives of children and their families.  Thank you for visiting our site and for supporting our mission. PWV CELEBRATES OUR FATHERS AUXILIARY

Portland Willamette Valley Chapter celebrated the Father’s Auxiliary, hosting a dad’s day out at the Loyal Legion. In addition to fellowship time, Mother’s and children sent words of appreciation for each dad. We appreciate all our dads in the PWV chapter.

PWV Celebrates our graduating seniors

Portland Willamette Valley Chapter celebrated our 3 graduating seniors at Black Family Day. Jaymi Robinson, PWV Teen President, is the daughter of Jay and Kia Robinson, she will attend Howard University in the fall. Liam Johnson is the son of Mat Johnson and Meera Bowman-Johnson, he will attend University of Oregon in the fall. Chloe Johnson is the daughter of Mat Johnson and Meera Bowman-Johnson, she will attend Howard University in the fall. Congratulations graduates, Love your PWV family

PWV celebrates mlk day of service

PWV chapter members and children/teens hosted a blood pressure station at the annual MLK celebration, in Portland, Oregon. Participants also received a document discussing heart health and maintaining a healthy blood pressure.
